About the event

Join us as we explore Relationship Meta-skills using an Embodied Relationship approach.  Relationship Meta-skills are those qualities, when skillfully used, support connection even when the relationship is under stress.   These qualities are inherent in each of us, but can be cultivated both within ourselves and within our relationships.

An Embodied Relationship approach coaches us in how to experience our feelings without being overwhelmed by them: fight, flight, freeze, fawn, or regress into our habitual defensive patterns.  This allows us to remain true to ourselves while maintaining connection with our partner.

George Beshers, ACCEP After working in the computer science field for many years, I felt increasingly stuck professionally, and personally unfulfilled.  Somatic therapies helped me make substantive changes in creating a life of fulfillment and purpose. My relationships have improved and I’ve become a positive role model for my children. It was when my son noticed the profound change that I made the decision to become certified as a Core Energetics Practitioner and later an Exceptional Relationship Mentor. I’m integrating the insights of scientific research with existing somatic modalities and how cultural differences influence relationship dynamics. My goal is to be ally of my clients: assisting them to reach their highest potential and supporting them in cultivating authentic relationships.  I work with individuals, couples, and groups.

Anna Smith, ACCEP. I have been a seeker of spiritual self-transformation for most of my adult life. It was when a friend helped me identify my energetic sensitivity and invited me to an “energy healing” training that I found my people and my calling. I am an Advanced Certified Core Energetics Practitioner and Intuitive Energy Healer.  I am certified in Embodied Couples Mentoring through the Exceptional Relationship Institute, and in Essentials of Trauma Treatment as well as Integrated Energy Therapy.  I serve on the Faculty of the Institute of Core Energetics; a body centered practitioner training program.   I love supporting individuals and couples in their journeys. I lead groups, and teach a variety of healing modalities.
